Alcohol Ink Intuitive Painting

I am a full time fluid, resin, and acrylic artist that has been teaching art in person at my studio for hundreds of students over the course of the last two years. I specialize in beginner classes and have taught intermediate classes as well. I really love teaching beginners because they move so far after just one session.

I really enjoy seeing how empowered and excited students become after one three hour class! I have had some students that really tried to convince me that they were "not able to draw a stickman." Can you imagine the expression when they finish four paintings in three hours that they can't wait to hang up??? Fluid art is my favourite to start with because it is easy, quick drying, and unpredictable. Fluid art is the ultimate creative playtime for adults in my opinion.

My goals as a teacher are as follows:

- to give you all of the information I know, and explain step by step so that there isn't any confusion. You will not be wondering what I just did due to lack of instruction.

- to give you more value for your money. I will add "bonus" paintings that people are not expecting so that they really get a bang for their buck.

- to ensure you have an understanding of troubleshooting and how to fix mistakes.

- to make you feel comfortable and confident and relaxed as you start your art journey.

- to give you the basics of art guidelines. We do not focus on them, because if you are inundated with rules and theory, you will not have a relaxing and fun experience starting out with your art. We will simply touch on them so that you know about them. Many of our paintings ignore or break the rules anyways.
